“World of Wonder,” better known as “WOW,” is at the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino. The 90-minute spectacular has mesmerized more than 2.5 million people around the world for well over a decade. Taking over a customized showroom at the Rio Las Vegas complete with performance pool, “WOW – A Water Spectacular” is here.
So what can audience members expect? WOW World of Wonder is a water-based tour de force that features more than 30 amazing performing artists, including acrobats, daredevils, dancers, niche acts and musicians.
“Audiences will be captivated by the splendor of stand-out visual elements, water effects and a breathtaking cast of performers,” said Damian Costa, Caesars Entertainment vice president of Las Vegas entertainment operations.
Performers from “WOW” have found acclaim all over the globe. Amazing acts hailing from multiple countries including the United States, Canada, Italy, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ukraine, France, Colombia and more are what makes “WOW” a must-see show.
One featured artist is Sylvia Sylvia, a semi-finalist from the hit television show “America’s Got Talent.” The sexagenarian South American stunt performer stuns audiences with her cross-bow and arrow act that includes a multi-bow setup in which Sylvia Sylvia ends up shooting an arrow through an apple that rests on her own head.
From the mind of prestigious director Hanoch Rosènn, look for the stars of tomorrow in “WOW.” Rosènn famously directed “Festigal” which saw “Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot make her stage-acting debut in 2008.
Rosènn believes that WOW World of Wonder and the Rio are a perfect match. He states, “For more than 15 years we have been presenting ‘WOW’ with a new incarnation of the show every year,” says Rosènn. “I have always felt the show was perfect for Las Vegas so I am thrilled to bring “WOW” to North American audiences with the premiere at Rio.”
WOW, indeed.
