Hailed by many as the premiere comedy magician in the world today, Mac King was just named “Magician of the Year” by the Magic Castle in Hollywood, just broke a Guinness World Record, just appeared on his seventh TV special for NBC-TV, just rocked on the Late Show with David Letterman, and has been regarded as one of the top 5 shows in all of Las Vegas for the past ten years.

At first glance, Mac King’s quirky style may throw you off just a bit. We know it’s not every day you see a Las Vegas performer donning a retro plaid suit and a bowl cut. But don’t let his old-school look fool you – this may very well be the most entertaining Vegas afternoon show you’ll see.

Mac King’s unique act contains an unusual combination of quirky humor, visual gags and astounding sleight of hand. He’s best known for his engaging personality and original magic creations, such as making a live goldfish appear over someone’s head (or even out of his mouth!).

Another entertaining fact? He makes his magic look very easy. Plus, since he’s such a likable, charismatic guy, you’ll want to be his BFF.

ABOUT COMEDIAN MAC KING
The Kentucky-born entertainer always wanted to be a magician. His grandfathers were both amateur magicians. King’s first paying gig was a birthday party when he was just 10 years old.

During his summer breaks from college, the funnyman performed magic three times a day. After graduating with an anthropology degree, he hit the road and performed at comedy clubs worldwide. He appeared on several NBC TV specials and broke a Guinness World Record – all without harming one single goldfish.

He has his own family-friendly show, “The Mac King Comedy Magic Show”, at the Excalibur Las Vegas in the Clint Holmes Theater. On the NBC The World’s Greatest Magic specials, King taught the audience a minor effect before and after each commercial in segments referred to as the Mac King School of Magic.
